Brand Identity System
Young adults don’t always enjoy cooking in a world focused on immediate gratification and accessible food delivery. Tasty reaches this young audience by making cooking fun through entertaining and educational cooking content. The new identity reflects this by using bright colors and approachable, organic elements.

I chose these bright colors because they all occur in the natural world of fruits and vegetables, to maintain an appetizing color palette.

I also created handdrawn icon elements since Tasty is also an educational content creator, and these icons would be the most common tools needed to cook. I used a handdrawn style to further create an approachable, friendly brand appearance.


Custom Typeface:



This custom typeface was an extension of the logo typeface itself, with round shapes that could be interpreted as dough, or bubbles giving a playful look.



Posters:


These posters were to show the new brand identity and how all the colors and icons could be used.


This 3 poster series was created as a visual way to quickly show all the ingredients in recipes that would take less than 15 minutes to cook. Since younger audiences like to have all the information easily digestible, I thought was a fun and easy way to give them foundation for a recipe they could learn.


The Midnight Snack poster series was created as a visual way to potentially promote a physical event at college campuses that could teach students how to create their own simple snacks they might crave like cookies.
